Cultural heritage is an important part of growing up, and language plays a leading role in a child’s development.
A group of local parents, have taken up the challenge to ensure thier children become fluent in thier mother tounge language of Bangla, and started much needed Bengali language classes in St. Albans.
The two classes will cover spoken and written bangla and include culture and history as part of the lesson plans.
Class one will be on Thursday evenings at STAGS from 4pm to 5pm, for beginners to GCSE level from Year 3 to Year 11.
Class two will be on Sunday mornings from 11am to 12pm.
