Emergency food to people in crisis.

The St Albans & District foodbank has been working hard to support families over many years and even more so during the COVID 19 Pandemic.

The St Albans Foodbank provides the basic food essentials for those who are facing extreme hardship due to unemployment and in crisis. They aim to provide three days’ of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

If you can’t afford food or know someone who needs their help, you can call 0808 2082138 (freephone) to speak to a trained and independent Citizens Advice agent (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm). Please note this number is for people who do not have enough money for food.

Alternatively, please call 01727 811118 to speak to St Albans Citizens Advice who will be able to issue you with a food bank voucher if necessary.
