The St Albans Asian Community groups rally together to ensure the needs of the Community are met during the COVI 19 Lockdown. St Albans is blessed with a diverse network of organisations that are always working in the background to support thier local communities. And during Lock down this is no different.
Led Raihaanah Ahmed of Sopwell Community Trust, a new level of partnership has emerged, 10 local Asian and Muslim organisations have created a one stop shop flyer, listing all the ways community partners are working to ensure the needs of the community are met.
Those groups that are working together to ensure no one goes without The COVID 19 Response group includes Al Bayyinah School, London Colney Islamic Centre 20th St. Albans “Ansar” Scout Group Hertfordshire Asian Women’s Association (HAWA) The Adda Club, Batchwood Community Trust, St Albans Moroccan Community, LCB Mosque & Islamic Centre Islamic Centre St Albans and the Mauraition Association of St Albans.
