Navigating the Perinatal Journey: Free NHS Well-Being Event in Hemel Hempstead
Pregnancy and early motherhood bring a whirlwind of profound transformations. From the emotional and physical shifts to the hormonal changes, navigating the first few years of a child’s life is a monumental experience. While it is a time filled with joy, it can also feel incredibly heavy, overwhelming, or simply a lot to carry alone. Every concern, no matter how big or small, shows up differently for everyone, and looking after your mental health is just as important as your physical well-being.
To ensure every mother and family across Hertfordshire has access to inclusive, barrier-free support, the Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is hosting a special event next week. Presented by the Perinatal Well-being Team, “Together through the Perinatal Journey” is a free gathering designed to provide a safe, welcoming space for minority communities and migrant groups who may be facing moderate to severe health and well-being challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity to pop along, meet a specialist team dedicated to raising awareness about maternal mental health, and discover exactly what local support services are available to you in Hertfordshire. The event is completely free, and complimentary snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the session.

- Where: Baytus Salaam, Stevenage Rise, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 6BH
- Who it’s for: Open to mothers, families, anyone currently pregnant, or those with a child up to 24 months old. Children are very welcome to attend!
